University of Cincinnati (1990)

College of Engineering and Applied Science

Bachelor of Science - Construction Management 1990

Attended University of Cincinnati from 1985-1990. Completed 5-Year nationally recognized and accredited education program with Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management and Associate's Degree in Civil & Construction Engineering

Represented the College of Applied Sciences in my 1990 graduation ceremony as Baccalaureate Graduate of the Year (selected from 500 students). Named the CSA Construction student of the year from Class of 54 in 1990. Overall GPA of 3.35

Co-Op Education

Worked 7 Quarters of Internships while still attending college as part of Co-Op education requirements. Worked as Assist PM/Engineer for 2 Companies: Shook National (3 Quarters) and Turner Construction (4 Quarters) in Ohio region.

FMI Leadership Institute

Attended the 4-Day FMI Leadership Institute for Development of Leaders in 2004. The Leadership Institute is a four-day experience that gave me personal insight into my leadership style. Learned how this impacts others as well as my organization through highly interactive discussions and feedback. Connected with other leaders within the A/E/C industry and received self- assessment and individual development as well as experiential leadership, construction company simulation, and 360-degree feedback.

Project Executive Development

Selected to nationwide team within Turner Corporation to develop a fully integrated Project Executive training program rolled-out nationwide for high-potential project managers to become successful future Project Executives (2013).

Design-Build and Preconstruction Training 

Compiled a series of project manuals and training guidelines and tools for successful Design-Build project delivery and well as publishing of project training manuals for Preconstruction and Design Build topics for Turner (2003-2006).

School of Construction Management 2007-2014 

Conducted training courses for small and disadvantaged business and subcontractors in conjunction with the Airport Authority to help these companies be successful in business and navigate the San Diego market (2007-2014).

San Diego State University

Guest lecturer and speaker at the Construction Student Association on several topics from 2008-2012. Topics included project scheduling, quality control, and estimating.


Turner National Trainer


Created several training modules, managed the training program for 2 companies from 2006-2016, and was part of "Train the Trainer" program for former company training classes from 2001-2014 (Turner). List of Classes that were part of this training curriculum are listed below:

From 2001 to 2004 functioned as the gate-keeper of all training documents loaded on the corporate website used to share lessons learned and standard procedures and manuals for the entire company. Created many source documents being used by the entire company. Maintained training manuals and designed 5 web-based training programs used to roll-out new company initiatives.
